Young Parliamentary Fellows Training on Post Legislative Scrutiny

Anthro Insights arranged training of Young Parliamentary Fellows on ‘Post Legislative Scrutiny’ in Nathia Gali. It was a three-day training of all the young parliamentary fellows from federal and provinces. The objective of the training was to prepare and inform young parliamentary fellows about the steps of PLS and its respective techniques to determine the effectiveness of any law. 

The journey commenced with an icebreaking session followed by the introduction of PLS. On the second day of the training, parliamentary fellows studied the legislative analysis, delegated legislation, legislative socializing process and the implementation phase of PLS. A detailed session was also conducted on Delegated Legislation Review, in which the fellows conversed its scope in Pakistan.

On last day of the training, a closing session was held on Legislative Impact. Furthermore, all the fellows were assigned to do Post Legislative Scrutiny of any law and to submit its report after three months. Team members also shared their work experiences with Anthro Insights and their forthcoming expectations from the fellowship program.

In conjunction with the training, the delegation also visited some public points. Meanwhile, group discussions on world affairs were also the subject of discussion.
